A new study of the book of Job is now available on I Am Narrative, it’s titled “Job: Return From Exile.” Scripture tells us that Job is given as an example to teach all believers how to persevere through suffering.
“Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. James 5:10-11
We may not understand why we are suffering illness, experiencing loss, being persecuted, or being tempted by false teaching, but we can be sure of this, our Lord is powerful, full of compassion and mercy.
