Jude 17-23 describes scoffers who have no respect for the Word of God and have infiltrated the church for the sole purpose of using the Saints to satisfy their own ungodly desires. We are called to persevere through these scoffers and “contend for the faith” by examining the Scriptures to see if what is being taught is truly in keeping with God’s Revelation.
