A Long March Through the Institutions

We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed, always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

In 1984 G. Edward Griffin interviewed Soviet KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. In that interview, which can be found on youtube.com, Bezmenov explained the training that he had received as a Marxist Community Organizer. As you read through this interview keep in mind the plans and goals of both the UN and BLM as detailed on their websites.

“Ideological subversion is the slow process to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite an abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in defending themselves, their families, and their communities. It is a great brainwashing process which goes very slow. It is divided into four steps.

  1. Demoralization: It takes 15 to 50 years to demoralize a nation; to reeducate at least three generations of the children… exposing them to the Marxist ideology… to the lack of moral values. Exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts don’t matter. Even if I show them authentic proof and documents they will not believe it.
  2. Destabilization: The subverter doesn’t care about your ideas. This takes only 2 to 5 years to destabilize a nation. What matters is economic, foreign relations, and defense systems. In the economy and defense the influence of Marxist ideas has been fantastic. I could never have imagined the process could go so fast.
  3. Crisis: It may only take 6 weeks to bring a country to the verge of crisis. During the crisis politicians promise the people all kinds of goodies and paradise on earth to destabilize the economy and eliminate free market competition, establishing a Big Brother government. Benevolent dictators will promise lots of things; never mind if the promises are fulfilled or not. After the crisis with violent changes to the power structures and economy you have normalization.
  4. Normalization: This is a cynical term. When the soviet tanks moved into Czechoslovakia in 68’ Brezhnev said, ‘The situation is normalized.’ Leftist professors and Civil Rights defenders are instrumental in the process of subversion only to destabilize a nation. When the job is completed they are no longer needed and are lined up against the wall and shot. They know too much.

It is the same pattern all around the world. The time bomb is ticking. Destabilization is coming closer and unlike myself, you will have nowhere to defect to.”

Given how flawed human nature is, America has been a remarkable moral achievement. Those who acknowledge how flawed human nature is, compare America to reality. Those who do not, compare America to some utopian image: free of inequality, prejudices, intolerance, greed, etc. This divide helps explain why those who hold a Biblical worldview are more likely to appreciate America than those who do not. It is fundamental to Judaism and Christianity that “the will of man’s heart is evil from his youth.” Genesis 8:21 -Dennis Prager
