2 Timothy 4; 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt at his inaugural as president in 1933, in the midst of the Great Depression which began in 1929 said: “We have nothing to but fear itself.” There is a lot of fear on our midst. On the Cross Jesus said, It is finished and God has provided us a path Home, to His Kingdom. He also will continue to judge the wicked so I do not need to have my own vengeance. But can encourage and be patient with the wickedness in hope that some others may also be brought safely to the Kingdom of God.
We must own Paul’s charge charge from 2 Timothy 4:2 to preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort (i.e. strongly encourage and urge people toward Christ), with complete patience and teaching. Share the gospel in word and deed, with grace all the time.
Father in Heaven, you are the Holy Judge of the living and the dead. Thank you for your Son, Jesus, God with us, who has imputed His righteousness on us and has paid our debt to you. We are free! Thank you for your might grace and favor. Lead us now to be your ambassadors, as heirs, and make us might victors for your Kingdom and as we pick up Paul’s charge and step out today and every day for Your Glory. Forever and ever. Amen

All fear, for Christians is the same thing. It is fear of death. If we know we have nothing to be afraid of because we are in fact saved when we leave this Earth, then what do we have to fear it here? Death? Certainly not, because I am going home to be with Jesus. Again, what do I have to be afraid of? Only fear, one of the deceivers greatest weapons against us. Put another way, how would you deal with fear, if you knew all fear was coming from the deceiver or his minions?
Thanks Brother! Fear is Satan’s friend. And we leap there quickly. Like the disciples in the boat on the Sea of Galilee in John 6:15-21, they were scared of not finding the shore and they see Jesus walking toward them, on the water, and they were terrified. And Jesus says: “Hey It’s Me – don’t be afraid.” What calming words. Oh how I love this Savior of ours. I love you too brother! We are destined to spend eternity together in His presence … there is nothing to fear!
